Continental Airlines signs alliance partnership agreements with ANA and Asiana Airlines

Continental Airlines and its new Star Alliance partners, ANA and Asiana Airlines separately signed (28-Oct-2009) agreements to strengthen cooperation, following Continental's entry into Star on 27-Oct-2009, becoming the alliance's 25th member. The agreements extend cooperation across a variety of areas including codesharing, frequent flyer programmes and lounge access. The ANA agreement is expected to commence in 2010, while the Asiana agreement is expected to be launched in Dec-2009, subject to necessary Government approvals. [more - ANA] [more - Asiana]
