France halves tax on transfer passengers, to be abolished on 01-Jan-2016

France's Secretary of State for Transport, Maritime and Fisheries Alain Vidalies announced (01-Apr-2015) a 50% reduction in the civil aviation tax (TAC) for transfer passengers, with the tax to be abolished on 01-Jan-2016. Mr Vidalies said: "I welcome this measure, which is from a shared diagnosis of the need to act in favour of the airline industry.
