Chinese carriers report USD188m profit in Feb-2013 after three consecutive month of losses

CAAC reported Chinese carriers achieved a profit of CNY1200 million (USD187.5 million) in Feb-2013, an increase of 305% year-on-year, and after three consecutive months of losses including a CNY1000 million (USD156.3 million) loss in Jan-2013. According to Yicai, Chinese carriers reported an 18.2% increase in revenue to CNY31.4 billion (USD4.9 billion) and an 8.8% increase in costs to CNY26.6 billion (USD4.2 billion) in Feb-2013.
