China's Big Three to report profit in 1Q2010: China International Capital Corp

China International Capital Corp, an investment bank, forecasts China's aviation industry will continue its growth, with 1Q2010 revenues expected to show significant improvements and fare levels increasing at a rate faster than expected (Beijing Business, 09-Apr-2010). Profit at China's 'Big Three' airlines are expected to reach the following levels in 1Q2010:

• Air China: CNY1,149 million;
• China Southern Airlines: CNY1,219 million;
• China Eastern Airlines: CNY542 million.
