China Southern to deploy A380 on Beijing-Guangzhou

China Southern Airlines reportedly plans to deploy its A380 aircraft on domestic services between Beijing and Guangzhou initially and Beijing and Shanghai according to market demand (Shenzhen News, 29-Jun-2011). The carrier will not deploy the aircraft on Shenzhen routes in the short-term as Shenzhen Airport is not equipped to handle the jumbo jet. China Southern Chairman Si Xianmin previously stated the carrier will operates its first A380 aircraft, scheduled for delivery in Sep-2011, on the Beijing-Paris sector.
