China Southern takes delivery of third A380, operating Beijing-Hong Kong sector

China Southern Airlines confirmed (01-Mar-2012) its third A380 aircraft arrived in Beijing from Airbus' Toulouse factory on 01-Mar-2012 and the aircraft will enter service operating daily from Beijing to Hong Kong today (02-Mar-2012). China Southern stated it is scheduled to receive its fourth A380 in Oct-2012 and its fifth and final A380 in Dec-2012. The carrier now operates a fleet of approximately 450 aircraft including Boeing 777s, 747s, 757s, 737s, A380s, A330s, A321s, A320s and A319s. [more - original PR - Chinese]
