China Southern Airlines pax numbers up in Feb-2012, cargo volume up

China Southern Airlines reports (14-Mar-2012) the following traffic highlights in Feb-2012:

  • Passenger numbers: 6.4 million, +7.0% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: 5.8 million, +6.6%;
    • Regional: 130,480, -2.6%;
    • International: 501,190, +15.8%;
  • Passenger load factor: 78.5%, -1.8 ppts;
    • Domestic: 80.4%, -1.8 ppts;
    • Regional: 69.7%, -2.4 ppts;
    • International: 71.7%, -0.7 ppt;
  • Cargo volume: 84,610 tonnes, +41.2%;
    • Domestic: 61,550 tonnes, +43.4%;
    • Regional: 970 tonnes, +31.8%;
    • International: 22,080 tonnes, +35.7%.
