China Eastern Airlines reports passenger numbers up 9% in Jan-2010

China Eastern Airlines reports (19-Feb-2010) the following traffic highlights in Jan-2010:

Passenger numbers: 3.5 million, +9% year-on-year;
- Domestic: 3.0 million, +11.8%;
- International: 370,660, +3.3%;
- Hong Kong and Macau: 141,380, -20.9%.
Passenger load factor: 71.8%, +1.6 ppts;
- Domestic: 74.0%, +1.2 ppts;
- International: 67.5%, +2.9 ppts;
- Hong Kong and Macau: 64.6%, -5.5 ppts. [more]
