China Eastern Airlines pax numbers up in Feb-2012, cargo up

China Eastern Airlines reports (13-Mar-2012) the following traffic highlights in Feb-2012:

  • Passenger numbers: 5.2 million, +2.2% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: 4.4 million, +5.4%;
    • International: 556,310, -12.6%;
    • Regional: 192,360, -15.6%;
  • Passenger load factor: 78.2%, +0.8 ppt;
    • Domestic: 79.3%, -0.5 ppt;
    • International: 76.5%, +3.1 ppts;
    • Regional: 69.4%, -0.8 ppt;
  • Cargo volume: 104,120 tonnes, +33.8%;
