China Airlines and EVA cut cross-Strait fares by further 20%

Taiwan's Civil Aeronautics Administration Director General Yin Chengpong stated China Airlines and EVA Air have cut cross-Strait fares to Beijing and Shanghai by a further 20% effective 13-Jul-2011, after encouragement by the CAA (China News/Huaxia/The China Post, 13-Jul-2011). My Yin stated the CAA has also requested the carriers offer a further 10% discount on tickets purchased online and increasing to 25% within three months.
