Chengdu Airport reports 17% increase in May-2010 pax

China's Sichuan Provincial Airport Group reported passenger numbers at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport rose 17.2% year-on-year to 2.0 million in May-2010 (Carnoc.com, 01-Jun-2010). The airport management group also reported the following traffic highlights for its member airports for the five months ended 31-May-2010:

• Passenger numbers: 10.6 million, n/a;
  • Chengdu Airport: 10.1 million, n/a;
• Cargo volume: 172,000 tonnes, n/a;
• Aircraft movements: 88,182, n/a.
