Changi Airport revenue yield caps for first regulatory cycle determined

Singapore's Changi Airport Group (CAG) announced it has put in place (01-Oct-2009) a forward looking economic regulation framework following the corporatisation of the airport, capping aeronautical revenue per passenger. The framework sets an annual cap on the total aeronautical revenue which CAG can collect to cover its aeronautical costs and cost of capital, minus CAG's contribution of a portion of its profits from non-aeronautical revenue. In Apr-2009, the Singapore Government announced a freeze on Chaingi Airport's aeronautical charges to 31-Mar-2011. [more]
