Cathay Pacific: We 'can afford to compete' at the back end of aircraft

Cathay Pacific COO Ivan Chu, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, stated (08-Aug-2013) "we do want to access" the lower-cost long-haul market, adding "we've been studying the process of low-costs." Mr Chu said Cathay "can afford to compete" at the back end of the aircraft.
