Cathay Pacific A350 delivery delayed: CAPA

CAPA - Centre for Aviation expects (27-Nov-2015) that Cathay Pacific's first A350 delivery will be delayed from Feb-2016 to at least Mar-2016. Cathay">Cathay declined to specify dates, saying: "We aim to have our first A350-900 delivered in early 2016." Cathay">Cathay had previously regularly remarked about a Feb-2016 delivery date for its first A350. Deliveries are reportedly delayed due to last minute changes Cathay">Cathay requested to the business class seat. Cathay">Cathay responded that: "Integrating a new cabin layout with a new cabin product for the very first time inevitably presents challenges. The Cathay">Cathay Pacific">Cathay">Cathay Pacific team is working very closely with our cabin suppliers and Airbus to protect the integrity of the delivery programme and ensure that our first A350-900 is delivered in early 2016."
