Carlson Wagonlit Travel director air solutions EMEA Maxime Marembaud, speaking at CAPA's Airlines in Transition Conference on 25/26-Mar-2015, stated (26-Mar-2015) the price paid by corporate travellers outside of preferred booking channels is 6% higher than the price paid inside it. To accommodate the open booking trend, travel management companies are adding capabilities to add booking via mobile devices and online booking tools. Very few companies are allowing their corporate travellers to use open bookings.
