CAAC targets on-time performance of no less than 80% on busy routes

CAAC Air Traffic Management Bureau has set a target of maintaining an average on-time performance rate of no less than 80% on busy routes between Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Tianjin and Hong Kong (Carnoc.com, 31-Apr-2011). Nearby airports including Zhuhai, Macau, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, Guilin, Nanning, Haikou and Sanya are also expected to benefit from the proposal. Beijing-Guangzhou is the busiest sector in China with more than 500 flights operated per day.
