CAAC to issue USD205m in subsidy to 152 airports in 2016

CAAC released (26-Nov-2015) its 2016 subsidy policy for 152 of the country's small civil airports, which stands to receive up to CNY1310 million (USD205 million) in subsidy in 2016. Each of the airports will receive a subsidy ranging from CNY1.1 million (USD173,400) to CNY18.2 million (USD2.8 million). Among the 152 airports, Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport will receive the most subsidy at CNY18.2 million (USD2.8 million), followed by Kashgar Airport with CNY17.3 million (USD2.7 million) and Aksu Airport with CNY15.9 million (USD2.5 million).
