Guilin Airlines receives preliminary approval
CAAC stated (08-Sep-2015) the establishment of Guilin Airlines has received preliminary approval from CAAC Central and Southern Regional Administration, with the start-up set to become the second local Guangxi airline after Beibu Gulf Airlines. Guilin Airlines will be a JV between Guilin Tourism Development Co (60%) and Guilin Aviation Tourism Group (40%), which has been created by HNA Group. Details include:
- Registered capital: CNY600 million (USD93.8 million);
- Person responsible for preparation: Wang Xidong, VP Beijing Capital Airlines;
- Airport base: Guilin Airport;
- Operating scope: Domestic passenger and cargo air operation;
- Fleet: A319 aircraft;
