British Airways' union talks 'constructive' but no sign of breakthrough

22-Mar-2011 11:56 AM

British Airways CEO Keith Williams stated talks earlier this month with cabin crew union Unite had been “constructive” although there is still no sign of a breakthrough in the long-running dispute that led to 22 days of strikes in 2010 (TTGLive, 21-Mar-2011). “I agreed with Willie’s position on the strike. The pay and conditions of our cabin crew must be put on an equal footing with the rest of industry," Mr Williams said.
