British Airways looking to refresh fleet with new widebody aircraft

British Airways is looking to refresh its fleet with new widebody aircraft in a joint order with Iberia for either Airbus or Boeing aircraft (Daily Express, 10-Jun-2012). The airline is reportedly evaluating the A350-1000 and the 777X. The aircraft will be for both fleet replacement and growth, for delivery between 2015 and 2022. The airline currently has widebody aircraft on order including 12 A380 aircraft, eight 787-8 aircraft and 16 787-9 aircraft.
