British Airways cabin crew to vote on strike today, strikes probable

British Airways' Unite union will reportedly vote in favour of strike action in a ballot today (14-Dec-2009), which could lead to strikes by cabin crew over the Christmas holiday period (Times Online, 13-Dec-2009). 12,500 cabin crew will be balloted to determine if strikes by Unite will go ahead. Industrial regulations require that strikes are called within 28 days of the vote.
