Bordeaux Airport announces new low cost carrier terminal

France's Bordeaux Airport announced (008-Sep-09) plans to develop a EUR5.5 million low cost carrier terminal (LCCT) called 'billi'. The terminal is scheduled to open in May-2010 and is expected to offer carrier turnaround times of less than 25 minutes. [more]

Bordeaux Airport: "Our research highlighted a real need for a product tailored to accommodate the low-cost airlines, a product that would sit alongside our existing regional and international airport products. billi was conceived with the backing of the French Authorities and the key regional stakeholders.
