Bolivia domestic pax up 27% from Jan-2013 to Nov-2013; Amaszonas fastest growing at 257%

Bolivia reportedly experienced a 27% year-on-year increase in domestic passengers and 17% year-on-year increase in international passengers from Jan-2013 to Nov-2013, with Amaszonas nearly tripling its passengers over this period with 257% year-on-year growth. According to La Razon, Bolivia's Directorate General of Civil Aviation reported the following traffic highlights:

• Domestic passengers in 11 months to Nov-2013: 1.5 million passengers, +27% year-on-year;
• • Boliviana de Aviacion: 1.2 million, +24%;
  • Amaszonas: 202,762, +257%;
  • Aerocon: 122,979, +6%;
  • Ecojet: 1743;
