Boeing targeting B787 test flight by the end of Nov-2009 or early Dec-2009

Boeing announced it commenced work to reinforce the wing to side-of-body stress points on the B787 static and first test airframe, which will allow it to resume testing and pave the way for the aircraft's first flight before the end of 2009 (Wall Street Journal/ Chicago Tribune, 24-Sep-2009). The modifications are expected to take 30 days to complete. Modifications on the other five B787 test aircraft are to commence shortly.
