Boeing reports strong 1Q2014 results

Boeing revenue up 8% - financial highlights for three months ended 31-Mar-2014:

  • Total revenue: USD20,465 million, +8.3% year-on-year;
    • Commercial airplanes: USD12,737 million, +19.1%;
    • Boeing Capital: USD82 million, -21.9%;
  • Operating profit: USD1542 million, +0.9%;
    • Commercial airplanes: USD1502 million, +23.2%;
    • Boeing Capital: USD44 million, stable;
  • Net profit: USD965 million, -12.7%;
  • Total assets: USD91,575 million;
  • Cash and cash equivalents: USD6942 million;
  • Total liabilities: USD76,942 million;
  • 2014 forecast:
