Boeing reports 58 orders, eight cancellations

Boeing updated (10-Mar-2011) its orders and deliveries website for the week to 09-Mar-2011, confirming it took 58 new orders and eight cancellations, for B787s by unidentified customer(s).

Orders:

• Cathay Pacific: 10 B777s
• ILFC: 33 B737-800s
• US Air Force: Four B767s
• Unidentified customers: 11 B737NGs

Boeing also identified Etihad Airways as a customer for three B777s and Aeroflot as a customer for eight B777s. The orders were previously listed as unidentified.

• Boeing 2010 net orders:
  • B737: 43;
  • B747: 0;
  • B767: 7;
  • B777: 29;
  • B787: -12.
  • Total: 67.
