Boeing: No plans to cut B737 production in 2010

Boeing stated it has no plans to reduce production of B737 narrowbodies, but B777 production will be reduced from Jun-2010, as announced in 2009 (Dow Jones, 28-Jan-2010). Production is expected to be 460-465 aircraft, compared to 481 in 2008, and is expected to outweigh ordering, with Boeing concentrating on certification and delivery of the B787 and B747-8. The carrier reaffirmed its 4Q2010 delivery target for the B787.
