Boeing forecasts airlines to report net profit of USD8.9bn in 2010

Boeing Commercial Airplanes VP Marketing, Randy Tinseth, forecast airlines would report a combined net profit of USD8.9 billion in 2010 and USD5.3 billion in 2011 (Reuters, 02-Npv-2010). Global passenger traffic is expected to increase 5% in 2011, with cargo traffic up 6%.
