Boeing delivers 461 aircraft through Aug-2014 in 2014, net total for 2014 increases to 941

Boeing, on its Twitter page and on its Orders & Deliveries page through Aug-2014, stated (04-Sep-2014) it has delivered 461 aircraft in the eight months to Aug-2014. The manufacturer also noted: "With 23 new orders this week, our net total for the year jumps to 941". The carrier said deliveries in the eight months ended 30-Aug-2014 including 315 737s, 10 747s, one 767, 66 777s and 69 787s, for the 461 total. The carriers with the largest year-to-date deliveries included United Airlines (25), Southwest Airlines (22), GECAS (20), American Airlines (16) and Lion Air (16). [more - original PR]
