Boeing: Customers uncomfortable over narrowbody grey area

Boeing stated its airline customers are "uncomfortable" with the manufacturer's lack of clarity over the future of its narrowbody programme (Bloomberg, 23-Jun-2011).

Boeing: "It's being in the grey zone that some of our customers are uncomfortable with. That's the pressure I feel more than anything else. This is a 30-year decision, so on an intellectual level we've got lots of time. On a market-based level, we need to move forward with the decision," Marlin Dailey, VP of Sales Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Source: Bloomberg, 23-Jun-2011.
