Boeing Commercial Airplanes to make B737 engine decision by year end

Boeing Commercial Airplanes confirmed it plans to make a decision on a new engine for the B737 by the end of 2010, but will only do so if it can offer a significant advantage over competitors. Boeing does not expect a B737 with new engines to cut into orders for the models already in production.
