Boeing to commence final assembly on 500th 787 on 16-Sep-2016

Boeing Commercial Airplanes VP marketing Randy Tinseth, via his official Randy's Blog, stated (15-Sep-2016) the 500th 787 is starting to take shape. The mid and aftbody sections for the milestone aircraft were shipped from Boeing South Carolina to its Everett factory during the week of 05-Sep-2016 and the aircraft will commence final assembly on 16-Sep-2016.
