Boeing aims for first B747-8I flight in Mar-2011

Boeing conducted a roll-out of the B747-8I at its Everett, Washington, facility on 13-Feb-2011 (Dow Jones, 13-Feb-2011). Boeing aims to conduct the first flight of the passenger version in Mar-2011. The aircraft will enter service with Lufthansa in early 2012, which will configure the aircraft with 386 seats. Boeing has 106 orders for the B747-8: 74 freighter versions and 33 passenger aircraft.
