BOC Aviation delivers 27 aircraft in 1H2016, portfolio passes 250 aircraft

BOC Aviation reported (29-Aug-2016) the following operational highlights for 1H2016:

  • Deliveries: 27 aircraft, including six acquired by airline customers on delivery;
  • Leases: Signed agreements for 41 leases;
  • Sales: 22 aircraft, including the last remaining pre-2007 vintage aircraft;
  • Aircraft utilisation: 100%;
  • Forward placements: 100% of order book deliveries scheduled in 2016 are placed with lessees, with more than 60% of scheduled 2017 deliveries also placed on lease;
  • Portfolio: 265 owned and managed aircraft;
  • Managed fleet: 39 aircraft;
  • Average aircraft age: 3.3 years;
  • Average remaining lease term: 7.2 years for owned aircraft fleet;
  • Customer base: 64 airlines in 31 countries in the owned and managed fleet;
  • Order book: 218 aircraft averaging 40 aircraft deliveries p/a over 2016 to 2021. [more - original PR]
