BEA launches investigation into Air France turbulence event

BEA, France's accident investigation agency, launched (07-Dec-2009) an investigation into the event that occurred during Air France A330-200 flight AF445 from Rio de Janeiro to Paris, during the night of 29-Nov-2009. BEA stated that an "analysis of this event is likely to throw some additional light on the accident (on 01-Jun-2009) between Rio de Janeiro and Paris of flight AF447".
