Azul transports 15 million pax since its launch to end 2011

Azul reported (Mar-2012) it transported an accumulated 15 million passengers since its launch to the end of 2011, compared to the six million passengers transported by the carrier as at the end of 2010. Details include:

• Passenger numbers: 15 million, +150% compared to period ended 2011;
• Daily flights: 350, +75%;
• Destinations: 42, +50%;
• Market share: Almost 10%, compared to 7.5% in 2010;
• Aircraft: 49, +23 aircraft;
• Employees: 4500, +28.6%.
