Avianca TACA reports USD400m EBITDA in 2010

Avianca TACA reports the following preliminary financial results for the 12 months ended 31-Dec-2010 (portafolio.com.co, 25-Feb-2011):

• Revenue: USD3,000 million;
• EBITDA: USD400 million.
• Passenger numbers: 15 million, +10%.

Avianca TACA: "Commercially it was a year of growth. For now, the airline is in the process of renewing our fleet. At the end of the first half we will have a fleet of Airbus A318, A319, A320 and A330 aircraft. If fuel prices continues to rise, that would be reflected in ticket prices" Fabio Villegas, CEO.
