Austrian Airlines appoints Klaus Froese as COO

Austrian Airlines confirmed (31-Mar-2015) the merger of Austrian Airlines and Tyrolean Airways will take place as planned on 01-Apr-2015, with the carrier also announcing the appointment of Klaus Froese as COO of its extended executive board. As previously reported by CAPA, more than 3000 Tyrolean Airways staff will transfer to Austrian Airlines as a result of a new collective agreement, with Austrian Airlines to assume responsibility for all flight operations.
