ATA airlines reports 4.5% fall in pax revenue in Feb-2010

Air Transport Association of America (ATA) reported (23-Mar-2010) passenger revenue increased 4.5% year-on-year in Feb-2010, the second consecutive month of revenue growth. According to ATA, passenger numbers transported by its member airlines fell 2.9% due to inclement weather in Feb-2010, while unit revenue rose 5%. Meanwhile, cargo traffic, measured in cargo revenue tonne miles, rose 14% in Jan-2010. [more]
