Asiana Airlines to deploy A380s to Tokyo, Osaka, HK and Bangkok from Jun-2014, LA from Jul-2014

Asiana Airlines President Soo Cheon Kim, on the carrier's Google+ page, revealed (12-Feb-2014) the company's plans and strategy for introducing the A380. Asiana will receive two A380 aircraft which will commence operations to Los Angeles from 30-Jul-2014. Prior to being introduced on the Los Angeles route, Asiana plans to temporarily utilise the A380s on short and medium haul international destinations including Tokyo Narita, Osaka, Hong Kong and Bangkok from Jun-2014. Asiana's A380 strategy will place primary focus on the maximization of seat efficiency and the enhancement of premium seat quality.
