Amman Queen Alia Airport reports steady traffic growth for 7th consecutive month in Jul-2014

Jordan's Ammam Queen Alia International Airport stated (29-Aug-2014) that for the seventh consecutive month, passenger numbers and aircraft movements are on a steady rise, increasing by 5% year-on-year and 8.4%, respectively, to 578,026 passengers and 6335 movements in Jul-2014. Airport International Group, which responsible for the airport's rehabilitation, expansion and operation, CEO Kjeld Binger said, "July's figures represent a positive year-on-year increase in PAX and ACM statistics, and were especially enhanced by the Eid Al-Fitr vacation, which occurred at the end of the month. This resulted in a direct increase in flights to and from holiday destinations including the GCC, Egypt, Erbil, London and Vienna." [more - original PR]
