American Airlines reports (08-Aug-2012) the following traffic highlights in Jul-2012:

  • Passenger numbers: 9.9 million, -2.3% year-on-year;
  • Revenue passenger miles: -2.2%;
    • Domestic: -2.9%;
    • International: -1.4%;
    • Europe: -3.3%;
    • Latin America: +1.2%;
    • Asia Pacific: -4.4%;
  • Passenger load factor: 87%, stable;
    • Domestic: 88.2%, -0.3 ppt;
    • International: 87.1%, +0.5 ppt;
    • Europe: 87.9%, -0.4 ppt;
    • Latin America: 86.5%, -0.3 ppt;
