ALTA passenger numbers up 10% in May-2013, cargo traffic stable

Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) reports (01-Jul-2013) the following traffic highlights in May-2013:

  • Passenger numbers: 12.8 million, +10% year-on-year;
  • Passenger traffic (RPKs): +9.1%;
  • Capacity (ASKs): +6.0%;
  • Passenger load factor: 75.7%, +2.2 ppts;
  • Cargo traffic (FTKs): -0.4%.
