Airports of Thailand pax up 13%, cargo down 2% in Aug-2012

Airports of Thailand reported (11-Sep-2012) the following traffic highlights for Aug-2012:

Passenger numbers: 6.5 million, +12.9% year-on-year;
- Domestic: 2.5 million, +16.2%;
- International: 4.0 million, +11.0%;
Cargo volume: 113,652 tonnes, -2.0%;
- Domestic: 9080, -1.0%;
- International: 104,572, -2.1%;
Aircraft movements: 41,603, +8.4%;
- Domestic: 18,405, +9.3%;
- International: 23,198, +7.7%.
