Airports Authority of India reports traffic highlights for Jul-2009

Airports Authority of India (AAI) reports (01-Oct-2009) the following passenger traffic highlights in Jul-09:

  • Passenger numbers: 9.7 million, +15.0% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: 6.9 million, +18.2%;
    • International: 2.8 million, +7.6%;
  • Cargo volume: 158,100 tonnes, +7.8%;
    • Domestic: 56,940 tonnes, +23.2%;
    • International: 101,160 tonnes, +0.7%;
  • Aircraft movements: 110,870, +2.5%;
    • Domestic: 87,560, +2.1%;
