Airbus looks to beat Boeing's 2010 order total

Airbus will reportedly exceed Boeing's total of aircraft orders in 2010 (Reuters, 14-Jan-2010). Boeing took 625 gross and 530 net orders in 2010. Airbus is due to announce its 2010 order and delivery totals this week. EADS CEO Louis Gallois stated last week that Airbus sold and delivered more than 500 aircraft in 2010, but did not give a direct comparison with Boeing.
