Airbus confident of A350 timetable

Airbus Chief Operating Officer, John Leahey, stated the manufacturer is comfortable with its delivery commitments for the A350 XWB (Daily Star, 27-Aug-2010.). The first delivery of the aircraft is scheduled for mid-2013 to Qatar Airways. The manufacturer has denied a media report in Le Echos that the first A350 delivery would not occur until 2014.
