Airbus cancellations outweigh orders in Sep-2009

Airbus stated order cancellations outweighed new orders in Sep-2009, bringing the number of net new orders for the nine months to 30-Sep-2009 to 123 aircraft (Reuters, 07-Oct-2009). The aircraft manufacturer received two new orders in Sep-2009, but received four cancellations, including three narrowbody aircraft from Kingfisher Red, for the month. Total orders before any adjusted cancellations for the year stands at 149 aircraft. Boeing received 179 total new orders and 79 net order for the year to 30-Sep-2009.
