airBaltic to improve 2012 net result by EUR72m

airBaltic CEO Martin Gauss stated (08-Aug-2012) the carrier expects to improve its net result by LVL50 million (EUR71.9 million) year-on-year in 2012. The carrier also reported the following highlights for six months ended 30-Jun-2012:

  • Revenue: LVL104.7 million (EUR150.6 million);
  • Net profit: +50%;
  • Passenger numbers: 1.4 million;
  • Load factor: 72%, +1 ppt;
  • Yield: +8%;
  • Revenue per ASK: +11%;
