airBaltic celebrating profitability after a two-year restructuring

airBaltic CEO Martin Gauss told (11-Apr-2014) delegates at the CAPA Airlines In Transition conference in Dublin that the carrier is celebrating profitability after a two-year restructuring. The carrier connects the Baltics with the rest of Europe, said Mr Gauss, noting that airBaltic operates service from Riga to 20 European capitals. Mr Gauss estimates 48% of airBaltic's customers are connecting passengers, and the airline transports approximately three million passengers annually.
